Punch Clock is a time-tracking app at app.punch-clock.online, with this site at punch-clock.online. It keeps the data you need to track your work and nothing more. This page says what that data is, how it is used, and how to get rid of it.
What the app stores
Your account. Your email address, a display name, and, if you sign up with a password, a hash of that password. The password itself is never stored.
Sign in with Google. When you continue with Google, the app receives your Google account's email address, name, and Google's identifier for your account. It uses these to create or find your Punch Clock account. It asks Google for nothing else: no contacts, calendar, files, or password.
What you track. The projects, tasks, time entries, descriptions, hourly rates, and currencies you enter.
How it is used
To sign you in, to show you your own time and reports, and to email you when you need to verify your address or reset your password. That is all.
Your data is not sold, not used for advertising, and not shared with anyone except the providers that run the app: the hosting provider that stores the database, Cloudflare, whose network carries your traffic to and from the app, and the email service that delivers those account emails.
Punch Clock's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Cookies
One cookie keeps you signed in to the app for up to 30 days. It is only readable by the server and is cleared when you sign out. There are no analytics or tracking cookies.
Keeping and deleting data
Your data is kept for as long as your account exists. You can delete your account and everything tracked under it yourself from the Account page: we email a confirmation link to the address on the account, and opening it erases the account, the workspace, and every project, task and time entry in it, immediately and permanently. If you cannot sign in, email [email protected] from the address on the account.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Anything that affects how your data is used will be announced by email before it takes effect.
